Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her support and commitment to bettering South African Social Security Company (SASSA) providers throughout an engagement using the agency's senior professionals at a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric final exams.
Of your 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% on the registered pupils within the training sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
